In 2001 we were at the summer party of Rogues MC from Opmeer, Holland.

They had build an unimotorcycle and asked us if we would been interested in competing in a small competition in Holland in 2002.

We could have said NO ... but we were already infected with the unimotorcycle virus ...

 

In 2002 our brother Makke  build our first unimotorcycle. He use an old Honda Bol d'or 900  that Indy parked in the clubhouse garage a couple of years before.

In May 2002 we organized our first unimotorcycle demonstration to try and get the intrest of other Belgian clubs for this sport. In august that year we also organized the first Belgian unimotorcycle dragraces ever. Participating teams we the Catch-22 team (still the only Belgian team) and 3 teams from Holland (Rogues MC, Black Sheep MC, Spiders MC).

One day before our 2003 races we got a call from Black Hawks MC. They wanted to come and race but they still had a couple of technical questions.

Our first unimotorcycle has died on us. The carbs didn't withstand our abuse and the engine really suffered from the 100feet springs. As a result, the oil started to exit the engine by any means possible.

A new power source a GSXR750 was used to build our second unimotorcycle... and this one burns some serious rubber !!
