The Sloebers are a carnival group but also a bunch of close friends that like to have fun.
In the summer of 2005 we had our first encounter with unimotorcycle racing.
During the biker meeting of Black Hawks MC, we had a closer look at it and we were eager to try this out ourselves. The Vagabonds gave us more information to help us further along (thank guys).
After a couple of (drunken) weekends full of arguing on how we were going to build our first uni, we wisely decide to put building on a hold and do some more research during several races.
When looking for a engine, we found a two stroke 500cc Kawasaki.
After 2 months of building, we had finally finished our first uni. We couldn't have been any prouder.
But during the first test run, ... we saw all our hard work go up in flames ... so good bye unimotorcycle 1
The next engine was an air cooled GSX1100E.
Because now we were more experienced, building the second uni went a lot smoother and we quickly finished the job..
To our surprise the contraption really ran well, apart from a few oil leaks.
As a finishing touch we painted the thing PINK.
We're already in the process of building uni number 3.
So we really got infected by the uni microbe and we intend the have lots of uni fun in the future.
