The Flanders Brokkenrijders is a group of 6 friends from Oordegem in Oost-Vlaanderen (East Flanders).

After several discussions in our local pub 'The Shadows' in Oordegem about unicycleraces, we decided build one ourselves. Tattoo Peter from Oordegem donated an old Kawasaki Z1000 and we quickly started to build our first unimotorcycle.

The next weekend, Peter, Steven, Chris, Jan, Johan and Yves started with the first phase of the unimotorcycle build, dismantling the donor motorcycle. We really had a lot of fun during this build and after only a couple of weeks, the unimotorcycle was ready for some heavy duty testing.

If all goes well, we plan on introducing our unimotorcycle to the public on the 3rd of May 2008 during the B.UM.S. demo.
