During the last two years we've heard our member Tom talk about unimotorcycles.
He had been to a couple of unimotorcycle races and, although the activity of our club focusses mainly on tourist activities, he felt compelled to build a unimotorcycle to.
It didn't take long to get an other member Sis interested to. So we had two possible pilots / builders in the club.
As the infecting spread to the club members Max, Sabine and Tom Vosken joined in.
We found a suitable terrain to practice on with a cafeteria nearby, so all we needed was a motor.
Our member Wim made our unimotorcycle crew complete.
Member Geert donated a Honda VFR 750 to get us started building the unimotorcycle.
After the 3rd rebuild and with plenty of sweat (and beer), we think we got all the design error out.
At our first trail run we managed to burn the clutch. Seems the 22yrs old VFR wasn't up to beating it got from unimotorcycle racing.
During our second trail run we only had to make some minor changes to the design of our unimotorcycle. It seems that we're ready for battle.
The only thing left to do is a lick of paint.
You see us at the next races or maybe at the bar during the races...
