The fact that there are a lot of weird people roaming the planet, has been clear for a while.

But sometimes they show up unexpectedly.

This is exactly what happened a couple of days ago.

I opened my mail and saw I got a mail from the UK.  What made this mail special was that it was signed LUMPS (London UniMotorcycle Pilots) and organisation I thought was long since extinct.

The LUMPS founders : Jiffler, Dad, and Gripper, started experimenting with unimotorcycles back in 1997 after seeing them in biker magazines.

Unfortunately unimotorcycle racing didn't achieve the same level of intrest this sport has enjoyed in Belgium and Holland these last couple of years. Probably because nobody wanted to drag the bloody thing behind a car or van all the time. 

And if all goes according to plan, you'll see LUMPS at the Vagabonds races on the 19th of August (LOL)
